He found it difficult to find information on sports and leisure clubs without making a series of phone calls or speculative visits, which was time consuming, costly and frequently led to disappointing results.

As the web developed, he believed this would make this information easily available, but in turn created a wider search area of over 8 billion possible web pages. Even if you knew the location and the name of the club, you were still being confronted with hundreds of possible websites and even then the information was patchy.

The means to overcome this and capitalise on the accessibility of the internet was to channel this information into one site. This gives users the opportunity to access information on sports, leisure activities and entertainment in just a few clicks of a mouse.

Alongside supplying contact details, YLT’s objective is to expand on this information by providing pictures and more details on opening times and facilities available. Enhancing the users’ enjoyment and interest of the site is the accompaniment of targeted, useful facts and histories of sports and leisure pursuits.

As a Your Leisure Time.com user, we wish you an enjoyable experience and encourage feedback on services available as well as new and improving ideas you wish to see.
